It borders with the village Kalythies where it belongs demographically as well as with the villages Koskinou and Afantou. Most importantly Faliraki is located 12km from the airport, 10km from Rhodes port which is located next to the old Medieval town where there is the castle of the Knights Templar, 14km from the Valley of Butterflies and finally 30km from Lindos where you will find the Acropolis. Frequent public transport makes it a prefect base to explore the whole island.

Faliraki Beach

Faliraki beach is the most popular, and the most highly organized beach on Rhodes. It is more than 5 kilometers wide and here you can find anything you can possibly ask for. Beach fun, shallow waters, bars, night clubs, restaurants and water sports.

Rhodes town / Medieval city

This is a must see on your holiday to Rhodes. The stunning UNESCO World Heritage Site, owing to its well-preserved embodiment of ancient Greece with old ramparts and cobbled streets is bustling with people, restaurants, cafes and local markets, where you’ll get a real sense of what Rhodes must have been like hundreds of years ago. Try and visit day and night to experience two incredibly different atmospheres.

Acropolis of Rhodes

The Acropolis of Rhodes is an interesting and enjoyable archaeological site to visit whilst in Rhodes. Located on the top of the hill of Ayios Stefanos, close to the city with fabulous views. Unlike most of the ancient acropoleis it was not fortified. The partially reconstructed part of the site consists of the Temple of Apollo and below a stadium and small theatre.

No holiday in Rhodes is complete without visiting Lindos. Not just because of the 3rd century BC acropolis found there, or even because of the sugar-cubed houses and labyrinth of alleyways of the town loved by everyone who passes through.

It’s because climbing to Lindos’ temple, 116m above sea level, you follow exactly the same path as the ancients who built the acropolis and the knights that used it as a place of worship and defence. That incredible vista of the Aegean Sea and St Paul’s Bay below … it’s exactly the same view that would have inspired them back in the day.
