Its tourist industry is probably the most advanced in India, which means visitors are among the most pampered in the world. South of Goa is the state of Kerala, a tropical haven that has forever been associated with the spice trade. In the north of India there’s a concentration of vibrant cities, and of course the Taj Mahal, all of which need to be seen to be believed.
