Welcome to paradise. After arriving at Male International airport, you’ll be transferred by boat (20 mins) to your cruise ship, anchored just off Villigili. Our GoSingles Guest Relations Officer (GRO) will be there to meet you on your arrival. Once on the ship, we’ll be on hand to help you get checked into your cabin, providing you with a standard welcome briefing, with all the safety procedures and information you’ll need to know whilst cruising on board, as well as being introduced to your experienced dive crew.
This will be followed by time back in your cabin to unpack, freshen up before enjoying a pre-dinner cocktail on the Bar/Restaurant deck, whilst watching the first of many sunsets over the Indian Ocean.

Today, we will depart from Male Anchorage and sail the Vaadhoo Channel heading to South Male Atoll. The day will be spent visiting Kalhuhuraa, a Sand Bank, where you can relax and soak up the sun, and swim in the warm Indian Ocean.
In the evening, you will have the opportunity to go night fishing, the trip will be organised by the crew, where you will be able to have a go at using traditional hand lines.

Spend the day soaking up the dreamiest side of the Maldives with two chilled-out visits to the stunning Hathikolhu Sand Bank.
Morning Visit — 10:00 to 12:00
Start your day on pure white sand surrounded by crystal-clear lagoon water. After your morning escape, return to the boat for a freshly prepared lunch.
Afternoon Visit — 14:00 to 16:00
Head back out to the sand bank for more sun, sea, and good vibes. Swim, relax, snap the views — your call.
Weather permitting, we’ll cross the channel to Vaavu Atoll following the day’s excursions.

Your Cabin
Leira’s suites provide a comfortable base between days exploring the islands. All categories feature individual air conditioning, an en-suite bathroom with hot and cold water, an in-room safe, premium bedding and UK-style three-pin sockets with a 220V power supply.
Azure Suites
Located on the Azure Deck, these compact 11 m² suites offer a comfortable retreat with a porthole view. There are eight Azure Suites aboard, each with individual temperature control and a private en-suite bathroom.
After a day discovering the Maldives, return to your cabin to freshen up, cool down and enjoy some time to yourself.
Polaris Suites
The four Polaris Suites are located on the Polaris Deck and offer ocean views. The supplier lists accommodation sizes of 10 m² and 15 m², so the specific suite size should be checked when booking.
An outdoor lounge is also located on this deck, offering somewhere to enjoy the sea air between activities.
Horizon Suites
The two 20 m² Horizon Suites offer more space and ocean views. Situated on the Horizon Deck, they share the level with the main lounge, dining areas and Leira Bar.
These suites are worth considering if you prefer a larger cabin close to the yacht’s main social spaces.

Discover the Maldives beneath the surface, with opportunities to snorkel around reefs, sandbanks and deserted islands. When seasonal and local conditions allow, night snorkelling in search of manta rays may also be considered.
Scuba Diving
Leira’s diving programme offers opportunities to explore reefs, channels, pinnacles and wrecks. The supplier lists scuba equipment, Nitrox availability and PADI courses at different levels. Dive arrangements, suitability and charges should be confirmed before travel.
Kayaking & Paddleboarding
Kayaks and stand-up paddleboards form part of Leira’s water-sports equipment, offering another way to enjoy the surrounding waters when conditions permit.
Sandbanks & Island Visits
Step ashore to discover remote stretches of sand or explore local island communities. Depending on the itinerary, experiences may include swimming, snorkelling, picnics, browsing local shops or a beach barbecue.
Traditional Fishing
Try Maldivian hand-line fishing as evening approaches. Fishing equipment is available, and the supplier encourages catch-and-release.
Marine-Life Excursions
Optional excursions may search for manta rays and whale sharks when the season and conditions are suitable. These are encounters with wild animals, so sightings cannot be guaranteed.
Selected excursions are optional and chargeable. Activities and locations depend on weather, currents, sea conditions, availability and operational requirements.

Currency
Maldivian Rufiyaa (MVR) is the local currency, although US Dollars (USD) are widely accepted. Most onboard purchases can usually be settled by card, but it's useful to carry some cash for purchases and gratuities when visiting local islands.

British citizens receive a 30-day visa on arrival for tourism. Your passport should be valid for the required period from your arrival date and be in good condition. All travelers must complete any required arrival documentation before travelling. Other nationalities should check their own requirements
