Welcome to paradise. After arriving at Male International airport, you’ll be transferred by boat (20 mins) to your cruise ship, Yasawa Princess, anchored just off Villigili. Our GoSingles Guest Relations Officer (GRO) will be there to meet you on your arrival. Once on the ship, we’ll be on hand to help you get checked into your cabin, providing you with a standard welcome briefing, with all the safety procedures and information you’ll need to know whilst cruising on board Yasawa Princess, as well as being introduced to your experienced dive crew. 

This will be followed by time back in your cabin to unpack, freshen up before enjoying a pre-dinner cocktail on the Bar/Restaurant deck, whilst watching the first of many sunsets over the Indian Ocean.

Today, we will depart from Male Anchorage and sail the Vaadhoo Channel heading to South Male Atoll. The day will be spent visiting Kalhuhuraa, a Sand Bank, where you can relax and soak up the sun, and swim in the warm Indian Ocean.

In the evening, you will have the opportunity to go night fishing, the trip will be organised by the crew, where you will be able to have a go at using traditional hand lines.  

Spend the day soaking up the dreamiest side of the Maldives with two chilled-out visits to the stunning Hathikolhu Sand Bank.

Morning Visit — 10:00 to 12:00
Start your day on pure white sand surrounded by crystal-clear lagoon water. After your morning escape, return to the boat for a freshly prepared lunch.

Afternoon Visit — 14:00 to 16:00
Head back out to the sand bank for more sun, sea, and good vibes. Swim, relax, snap the views — your call.

Weather permitting, we’ll cross the channel to Vaavu Atoll following the day’s excursions.

Located on the eastern edge of the atoll, this sand bank is surrounded by a vast turquoise lagoon and an impressive reef.

Enjoy both the morning and afternoon here, with lunch served onboard. Shade umbrellas will be arranged when conditions allow.

Optional:

• Early Morning Snorkelling at Dhiggiri Thila – a long-time guest favourite

• Nurse Shark Encounter (Shark Point) – USD 15 per person (taxes excluded)

On arrival, the tender will be ready to take you straight to this South Ari Atoll sand bank. Its reef is full of healthy hard corals, a snorkeller’s delight.

Lunch is served onboard, with more beach time in the afternoon.

Local Island Visit – Dhagethi (16:30–18:00)
Stroll through the island, soak in local life, and browse for souvenirs.

One of the gems of Alif Dhaal Atoll, Dhigurah offers a long white beach, a calm lagoon, and authentic island vibes.

Spend a full day relaxing, with a picnic lunch back on the boat at 16:00.

Return to the island around 17:30–18:00 for sunset cocktails and a BBQ evening.

A quiet agricultural island with lush plantations and an inviting sandy stretch leading into a clear lagoon — perfect for swimming and snorkelling.

Optional:

• Whale Shark Excursion on the dive dhoni in search of these gentle giants. USD 25 per person (taxes excluded)

Departure to the UK or Double the Adventure - 14 Nights at Sea

Why stop at 7 nights when you can sail on? Stay aboard for the full 14-night cruise, explore more islands, enjoy extra excursions, and return home with twice the memories. For those heading back after 7 nights, the boat will be anchored off Maamagili Domestic Airport for you to pick up your return flight and connections home.

Visit Rangali Madivaru, a manta cleaning station (January–April).

Night Fishing
Experience traditional Maldivian hand-line bottom fishing. Catch-and-release is encouraged, but the crew can prepare a keeper for dinner.

A peaceful, uninhabited island with a long white-sand beach and small natural plantations.

Morning and afternoon excursions are arranged, with umbrellas set up depending on the weather.

Snorkelling
The house reef offers great visibility, with the chance to spot turtles or eagle rays.

Night Fishing Trip
End the day with traditional hand-line fishing organised by the crew.

Located in the centre of Ari Atoll, this beautiful sandbank features a well-developed reef full of life.

Snorkellers love this spot for its colourful fish and occasional turtle or ray sighting.

Morning and afternoon visits give you plenty of time to enjoy.

Spend the day swimming, sunbathing, and exploring at your own pace.
Picnic lunch is served onboard

Return around for sunset cocktails, followed by a chilled BBQ evening on the beach.

This large sand bank on the northern edge of Ari Atoll is known for its flocks of seabirds and wide open views.

The surrounding reef is rich with coral and colourful marine life — a snorkeller’s paradise.
Sun umbrellas will be set up when the weather allows.

Morning snorkel visit to Fish Tank — a rich reef reef close to Malé.

Return for lunch on board.

Afternoon guided visit to Malé City: fish market, national mosque, local streets.

Evening: farewell dinner aboard with live music or entertainment.

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast.

Disembark and transfer to Malé International Airport for your departure flight.
